The Song Of the Overcomers – January 2006
The next time I put my booklet on Revelation – I think I am going to call it –
The Song of the Overcomers. They are to encourage people that is much more in
the Lord for us to come into when it comes to living in the Supernatural – Luke
14:15 “Blessed is he that shall eat of the Bread of Life in the kingdom of God”.
This is current for us now, and in the present tense. “Labor not for the bread
(meat) of the life that will perish, but labor for the meat that will endure
unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you, for him has God
the Father has sealed” John 6:27 That is coming into the fullness of
relationship (line upon line, precept upon precept) growing into the fullness of
knowing both the Father and His Son, “No man knows the Father except the Son,
and unto whom the Son will reveal (make manifest) the Father.” You know the
scriptures in John 14; 1-4 in My Father’s house are many mansions – I go to
prepare a place for you that the position that I am in with the Father- that you
may also be there with me.” This is part of the song of the overcomers – “To him
that overcomes will I grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also
overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.” The many mansions in my
Fathers House are the lives of those who are the overcomers: There lives are
filled with the glory and the fullness of God, and when God looks at their
lives, He calls them MANSIONS. The habitation of God. In the Old Testament He
calls them Palaces. I need a platform to preach the things God has put into my
spirit. I thank God that I am able to do that in Africa, and only a few places
to date here in Canada. I get excited when I get into these messages - They burn
in my bones! Halleluyah. Have a good day in the Lord.
In Mozambique we experienced both the riches of His Grace and in some ways –
some of the greatest miracles of our lives, ~ and in one service the Holy Spirit
appeared like a dove (in a vision) over the meeting and stayed there like He did
with Jesus - at His baptism - that experience in the Lord blew me away -
literally! When praying I have learned to make declarations – It is amazing what
the Lord of Glory will do when we act on His word in Faith. “Whatsoever He says
will come to pass”! Before we left for Africa, the end of November while
visiting with my son Reuben and his wife, married now almost 6 years, were
seriously talking about adopting some children. I kept saying to them before you
do that make sure you hove one of your own first. For some reason unable to have
a child of their own. As we were leaving and saying our good byes – I looked at
Connie (our daughter in law), and said to her - “Connie I declare you pregnant
in JESUS’ NAME!” Six weeks later we receive an email from them in Africa,
telling us Connie is pregnant! In1t God good! When In Africa. We saw the weather
rebuked and the Lord good weather when a hurricane was coming our way and we did
not even know it until afterwards. The only areas that did not flood were
exactly what the Lord showed me before we left home, was the two provinces we
traveled in and ministered in, Sofala and the next west to it. The province to
the south of us had ten days of steady down pour and the provinces north of us
experienced the same. In southern Malawi where Martha and I went last May -
44,000 people were left homeless. They had a drought when we were there in May
through August (actually the drought lasted for 11 months) crops wiped out for
the most part and now wiped out by the heavy rains and floods that came. God has
given me a message for the people in that area, but not sure when I will be able
to deliver the message to them. We may be going back in the spring. We have also
had people approach us in coming with us, so WO are open to the Lord in that
area as well.
Love and blessings from us – Desi and Martha
