The Lord tells us to "Preach the Gospel", "Raise the dead", "Heal the sick",
"Cast out demons", feed the poor, care for the orphan and the widow.
The Lord also tells us to store treasures in heaven and instructs us how to
so in a multitude of ways. One of our questions is "Where can I do this, so
that, the lion's share of the monies I invest aren't being used up to support overhead, while only a
little bit of it trickles down to the needs of the people?" We want to plant our
seeds into "GOOD GROUND", so that it is truly going to fulfill the Great
Commission and that we may reap an abundant harvest for the needy, the church, and
ourselves. We want to plant our seed where it will reap both a natural and
eternal harvest. Most of us can not go to the poor directly or have other ministry gifts but
we would like to be a part of a work that is producing good
fruit, that we may wise and good stewards and fulfill the Great Commission though
out our lives. We can do this by supporting those whom God calls to go directly
to the mission field as our representatives and partner with them as they
represent Jesus on our behalf.
I have looked for "GOOD GROUND", Godly men and women, and talked with the
Lord about it. I believe He has brought me to "Feeding the Hungry Global
Ministries" & Desi & Martha Jakab.
Desi & Martha Jakab live humble lives where He multiplies "The Loaves and the
Fishes". They move in the gifts of the Spirit and are extravagant in their
love and generosity. I believe they an example of maturity and show the fruit of
lives devoted to knowing Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
